Hi, I’m Jane and welcome to my blog.

My husband and I recently bought our first home together in the beautiful Bayside area of Melbourne, Australia, where we live with our daughter and “Ollie” the cavoodle.

I find great joy and inspiration in giving unloved furniture a new lease of life, and I am the happiest with a paintbrush in my hand. My inspiration comes from a love of French provincial, shabby chic design, and decorating on a budget.

Since buying our first home, I have discovered a renewed loved of antique furniture and thrift shopping. I love pouring my creativity into my home and there are never enough hours in the day for all the projects I have in mind.

I have a long away to go and a lot to learn. It doesn’t always work out … but I’m loving every minute of my journey!
